Morocco international Mounir El Hamdaoui could be on his way out of Eredivisie champions Ajax this summer as Turkish side Trabzonspor have made an offer for the tricky attacker, De Telegraaf reports.
Trabzonspor only just missed out on the Turkish league title and are looking to strengthen their attack in order to be competitive again next term. Head coach Senol Gunes supposedly sees the 26-year-old El Hamdaoui as the perfect addition to his squad.
The Trabzon side have reportedly made a €4.5 million offer for the former Tottenham Hotspur forward and Ajax appear to be ready to cash in on him.
El Hamdaoui joined Ajax from AZ last summer and quickly became an important first team member at the Amsterdam side. However, he lost his starting berth when Frank de Boer took over as head coach.
However, it is not yet clear whether El Hamdaoui is interested in a move to Turkey as he has reportedly set his sights on joining a club in Spain or France.
