PSV's Fred Rutten Happy To Conclude Hectic Period In Style

PSV coach Fred Rutten was very pleased with his side's win over Utrecht on Sunday.
Eredivisie table toppers PSV beat Utrecht 1-0 on Sunday to record their second important victory in four days time after beating Rangers in Thursday's Europa League match.

Coach Fred Rutten wasn't completely satisfied with his side's start to the game against Utrecht, but the was pleased to see PSV conclude a hectic period in style.

"We had a stuttering start to the game and were slow to get going. Once we had taken the lead, we went in search of a second goal. I’m happy that we’ve concluded a hectic period in style."

Rutten then went on to look ahead to the remainder of the season and made it clear that PSV are ready for the final stretch of matches, that can all be seen at www.LiveDutchEredivisie.tv.

"We will not return to domestic league action until two weeks, but several players will be away on international duty.

"We’re now going to prepare for the final games of the season. I think we’re ready for the final stage of the campaign."
