Eredivisie outfit AZ have confirmed on their official website that attacker Graziano Pelle will leave the Alkmaar side for an adventure with Parma at the end of the season. The Alkmaarders didn't disclose any details about the transfer fee.

The striker's contract with AZ was due to expire in the summer of 2012. He has signed a five-year deal with his new club, starting in June 2011.

Pelle started his professional career with Lecce and also wore the jerseys of Catania, Crotone and Cesena before joining AZ in the summer of 2007 for a fee in the region of €6 million.

The former Italy under-21 starlet never really managed to secure regular first team action with the Alkmaar side though. Pelle has made 70 Eredivisie appearances so far, scoring 12 goals in the process.

He was part of the AZ squad that won the league title in 2008-09 and also won the Johan Cruyff Shield with the Alkmaar side.
