Fee: on loan
Contract: Jun 2011
Greek outfit Panserraikos have completed the transfer of South Africa international Bernard Parker from Eredivisie champions Twente on a loan deal. The versatile attacker has signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old attacker joined Twente from Thanda Royal Zulu in the summer of 2009, but he never really managed to secure regular first team action. Parker has made 17 Eredivisie appearances for Twente in the past 18 months, without finding the net.
The forward recently expressed his disappointment with his lack of first team action in Enschede and has therefore been allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis.
Parker initially appeared to be on his way to Leicester City after a successful trial period, but he has now opted to join Panserraikos instead.
Panserraikos are battling against relegation this term and sit 15th in the league table with 16 points from 18 games.
