Dutch legend Ruud Gullit was the chairman for the Holland/Belgium bid for the 2018 World Cup but believes that he is better suited on the touchline than inside the boardroom.
"I am better suited to being a coach," said Gullit, according to NOS. "The chairmanship was a very informative period for me. I was able to see how important football is around the world. What I will do with that, I don't know yet."
Gullit also admitted that winning the right to host the 2018 World Cup finals was always going to be tough.
"We needed a miracle for it to happen but we went some way to achieving that. I am happy that we were not eliminated after the first round of voting."
