Bulgarian powerhouse Levski Sofia have completed the transfer of highly rated winger Andwele Slory on a free transfer. The 27-year-old attacker has signed a two-year deal with the Europa League hopefuls.
Levski qualified for the group stage of the Europa League by beating Swedish side AIK in a play-off and are paired with Sporting CP, Lille and Gent in the group stage. Head coach Yasen Petrov was keen to add some fresh blood to his squad ahead of the first match in the EL group stage and the Sofia gaffer has now gotten his desired reinforcements.
Slory started his professional career at Telstar and also played for Excelsior, Feyenoord and West Bromwich Albion. He was released on a free transfer by West Brom last summer and had since been looking for a new club.
The tricky winger, who has been capped twice at senior level for Netherlands, is the third Dutchman in Levski's squad. Compatriots Serginho Greene and Dustley Mulder are also under contract with the 26-times Bulgarian champions.
