Eredivisie powerhouse Feyenoord have successfully completed contract negotiations with shot stoppers Erwin Mulder and Rob van Dijk. Mulder has signed a new contract until 2013, while Van Dijk will stay at the Rotterdam side until 2011.
The 21-year-old Mulder is a product of the Feyenoord youth academy and has so far made 10 Eredivisie appearances for the Stadionclub. He is widely considered to be on one of Holland's most promising glovesmen.
Veteran shot stopper Van Dijk returned to Feyenoord from Heerenveen in 2008-09. The 41-year-old has made well over 300 league appearances for Feyenoord, RKC, PSV, De Graafschap and Heerenveen over the past 20 seasons.
"Feyenoord are very satisfied that we have managed to hold on to both Rob and Erwin," said technical director Leo Beenhakker on the official Feyenoord website. "Rob has already had a very long career and is extremely experienced, while Erwin is one of the best young goalies around in The Netherlands."
