Official: NAC Sign Willem II Defender Jens Janse

The right back will join NAC on a Bosman move this summer...
Eredivisie outfit NAC Breda have completed the transfer of defender Jens Janse from rivals Willem II on a free transfer. The full-back will join his new club on a Bosman move this summer.

NAC were in the market for a new right back due to the expected departure of Kurt Elshot at the end of the season and head coach Robert Maaskant had targeted Janse as the perfect replacement.

The 23-year-old Janse is a product of the PSV youth academy, but the defender never made it into the first team of the Eindhoven powerhouse. He left PSV for Willem II in the summer of 2005.

He has made over 100 Eredivisie appearances for the Tricolores so far, scoring one goal in the process.

The former Holland under-21 starlet has signed a three-year deal at his new club. NAC previously secured the services of holding midfielder Kees Luijckx from AZ on a free transfer.
