Highly-rated Ajax midfielder Jeffrey Sarpong could be on his way out of the Amsterdam ArenA, if only on a temporary basis, as the Eredivisie giants are keen to farm him out on loan.
Sarpong made his official Ajax debut in the 2005-06 campaign and many predicted a great future for the talented youngster. However, the 20-year-old still awaits his definite breakthrough.
He has made only twenty league appearances so far for the Amsterdam side, scoring one goal in the process. Dutch newspaper AD/Sportwereld now claims that Ajax are keen to farm Sarpong out on loan in order to let him gain valuable first team experience.
Willem II and Heracles have already made it clear that Sarpong is more than welcome there, while Spanish outfit Real Zaragoza were also being linked with the attacking midfielder.
Aside from Sarpong, Ajax are reportedly also eager to ship Darko Bodul, Daley Blind, Vurnon Anita and Jan-Arie van der Heijden out on loan.
