Chelsea defender Slobadan Rajkovic has extended his loan-spell with Steve McClaren's FC Twente side for another season, the Eredivisie side confirmed on Wednesday night.
The Blues signed the U-21 Serbia international from OFK Belgrade in 2007 and immediately sent him off to PSV Eindhoven to gain some experience before opting to let him continue his development with Twente.
"Slobodan Rajkovic will be on loan with FC Twente for the coming year," read a statement from the Dutch club.
The 20-year-old was subject to some controversy after allegedly spitting at a referee, resulting in a one year ban from competitive football. However, the ban was reduced to international football only and the youngster was allowed to continue with his club side.
