According to a report in Algemeen Dagblad, Eredivisie champions AZ are set to part company with attacking midfielder Brett Holman. The 24-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Alkmaar outfit.
Holman joined AZ from Nijmegen side NEC last summer, however, the versatile player has failed to make an impact at his new club. Holman has made only 15 league appearances this season, scoring once.
The Australian international’s current contract at AZ expires in 2012, but Holman will be allowed to leave the club if the price is right.
Rumour has it that fallen Eredivisie giants Feyenoord are closely monitoring Holman’s situation.
Additionally, technical director Marcel Brands has also told Kees Luijckx, back-up goalkeeper Joey Didulica and Danish midfielder Simon Poulsen that they will be allowed to move on if a good offer comes in.
