Wilkshire Signs For Dinamo Moscow

Australian fullback Luke Wilkshire has left Champions League hopefuls Twente for Russian side Dinamo Moscow.
The 26-year-old fullback arrived in Moscow on Monday to negotiate about his personal terms and reached an agreement today. Twente could not prevent their player leaving because of the limited transfer fee in his contract.

Twente reportedly receive an amount of €2million for Wilkshire, who signed a three-year deal at the Russian side.

With the transfer of Wilkshire, Twente already lost their third player from the team that qualified for this year’s Champions League. Karim El Ahmadi and Orlando Engelaar left the Tukkers earlier this summer.

Wilkshire signed for Twente in 2006 from Bristol City. He made 59 league appearances for the Eredivisie side. The Australian international started his European career at Middlesbrough in 2001.
