NEC Eye Olympic Duo

Dutch UEFA cup contenders NEC are interested in signing James Troisi and Predrag Pavlovic; both wingers are currently participating in the Olympic Games in China.
The Nijmegen side are looking to add two wingers to their squad. Last year’s revelation on the right wing Jeremain Lens has returned to AZ, and NEC have targeted Pavlovic as his replacement. According to Omroep Gelderland they have an option on the 22-year-old Serbian already.

Pavlovic is a product of the Partizan Belgrade youth academy, but never made it to the first team. The youngster currently plays for Napredak Krusevac, where he has made more than 50 appearances in the last two seasons.

Left-winger has Kevin Bobson left the Nijmegen side on a free transfer, meaning that NEC have to find a replacement for him too. Australian winger James Troisi is the main target for this position.

The 20-year-old youngster is a free agent after Newcastle United decided not to offer him a new contract. Troisi was on trial at fellow Eredivisie side Roda last season, but negotiations about a contract broke down for financial reasons.

Troisi never made it to the first team of Premiership side Newcastle United, but he has managed to make three international appearances for Australia.
