VIDEO: Wolfsburg Midfielder Josue Plays Hard v Bayern Munich And Injures Franck Ribery

One of the features of Wolfsburg's 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga yesterday was Josue's one man mission to seemingly injure as many of the opposition's players as possible.

The Brazilian took just 16 minutes to make his mark on the game, crashing into Franck Ribery on the edge of the box, leaving the French winger to exit the pitch with reports suggesting he has suffered a serious knee ligament injury.

Josue's foul on Ribery is on this video.

From then on, Josue took it into his own hands to be Wolfsburg's enforcer as they chased a 1-0 deficit.

Ten minutes into the second half, he crudely took down Arjen Robben as the Dutch winger was looking to break from a cleared Wolfsburg corner.

Referee Manuel Grafe booked Josue for the foul on Robben but the Wolfsburg number seven then fouled both Phillip Lahm and Mark van Bommel and was hugely fortunate not to be sent off.

Even to Steve McClaren it was obvious what would happen. Josue was hauled off on 69 before he did any more damage to his own team or to the Bayern Munich players.

Josue's haul of bad fouls v Bayern Munich can be seen on the video below.
