They may have only been playing for Europa League qualification this evening, but Hapoel Tel Aviv's Eren Zahavi appears to have wrapped up the goal of the season competition in the Champions League for 2010/2011.
Zahavi, an attacking midfielder, put Hapoel Tel Aviv 2-1 up at Lyon with a stunning overhead kick from a left wing cross by Salim Toama.
The 23-year-old has now scored 11 goals this season but it is unlikely he will ever score a better goal than the acrobatic bicycle kick that flew past Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris.
(As an aside, the strange rules surrounding FIFA's Puskas Award mean that Zahavi's goal cannot be included in the goal of 2010 award due to the date it was scored on.)
To see whether Zahavi scored the best ever Champions League goal, here are the top five (in our opinion) scored since the inaugural season in 1995.
1. Lucho Gonzalez, Hamburg v FC Porto, 2006.
3. Charles-Edouard Coridon, PSG v Porto, 2004.
5. Hugo Almeida, Inter Milan v Porto, 2005.
