With our regular Monday top goals of the week list approaching it seems like an opportune time to flag up some of the contenders for the Top Goals of the Week following a frenzied weekend of international football.
In truth it looks like new YouTube sensation Mattie Burrows of Glentoran has this week's prize sown up thanks to his flying back heel volley against Portadown but there were some fine Golazos over the weekend.
The first goal to highlight is Manchester United winger Nani's second goal for Portugal in their 3-1 win over Denmark on Friday night.
Nani capitalised on a woeful pass backwards from Christian Poulsen immediately from the centre following Portugal's opener and slammed an unstoppable rocket for the second.
The other brilliant strike scored on Friday night in a Euro 2012 qualifier was by Estonia and Middlesbrough's Tarmo Kink who slammed in a terrific shot from outside the box which left the Serbia keeper bamboozled.
On Saturday night in Brazil there was also a picture-perfect free-kick scored for Sao Paolo by Ricardo Oliveira. He scored all three goals in the 3-2 victory at Gremio Prudente but it was his first that was the best of the lot:
