Zaragoza - Celta Vigo Betting Preview: Why a home win looks on the cards on Monday

With Celta having lost all their away matches this season and Zaragoza winning three of the last four at home, our Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides can only see one result tonight
This evening's La Liga offering sees Celta Vigo travel to the region of Aragon to face a Zaragoza side who have been in decent home form of late.

Paddy Power offer odds of 11/10 (2.10) for Manolo Jimenez's side to claim a victory this evening and that looks to be extremely generous. Celta meanwhile are offered at 12/5 (3.40) with the draw available at 9/4 (3.25).

Yet, so far this season the Galicians are yet to pick up a point away from Vigo having lost all six matches they have played on the road.

While they were unlucky to lose their last away game 3-2 at Rayo Vallecano, having gone 2-0 up before having a man sent off, Celta looked like a side bereft of any confidence on their travels.

Zaragoza meanwhile have been picking up an impressive number of wins at the Estadio La Romareda, claiming maximum points in three of their last four matches there.

They have also netted 10 goals during those three victories and on their day they are capable of playing some decent football.

Indeed, while their recent trips to Real Madrid and Barcelona have both yielded defeats, Zaragoza acquitted themselves admirably against the two biggest teams in the division.

Against a Celta side who have lost every away match they have played so far, the price of 11/10 (2.10) for a home win looks to be an excellent bet.

For a value bet try backing Draw/Zaragoza in the half-time/full-time market at 4/1 (5.00), which offers punters the chance of pretty sizeable returns.
