The Belgian football association (KBVB) have appointed Georges Leekens as the new man in charge of the Rode Duivels. Leekens has signed a contract until after Euro 2012 with the KBVB.
Belgium were in the market for a new head coach due to the sudden departure of Dick Advocaat back in April. The Dutch gaffer resigned after being approached by the Russian FA.

Laurent Ciman, Christian Benteke, Kevin De Bruyne, Christophe Lepoint and Jonathan Legear are all set to make their international debuts when the Belgians take on Bulgaria later this month.
Thomas Vermaelen and Daniel Van Buyten were not included in the match-day squad, but were asked to attend in their capacity as captain and vice-captain.
