Spanish Cumpleanos: Txetxu Rojo

1947: Txetxu Rojo: Txetxu began his professional career at Athletic Bilbao in 1965 after coming through the club's youth system. He went on to contest 413 Primera Liga games, a record for the Basque outfit and also won two Copa del Rey crowns before retiring in 1982. Txetxu was also capped 18 times by Spain. He later coached the Bilbao second string before taking over as first team coach for one season in 1989. After spells at Osasuna, Real Zaragoza and Salamanca he coached Los Leones for another season 2000/01.
