The young playmaker is pleased that his Under-21 trainer gives him plenty of room to express himself on the pitch

Isco says he is delighted about the enhanced creative freedom handed to him by Spain Under-21 boss Julen Lopetegui.

La Roja and the Netherlands have both collected six points in Group B of the Euro Under-21 tournament so far and are now ready to battle it out against each other for the top spot, ahead of moving on to the finals.

And the talented Malaga youngster is relishing the chance to shine in the upcoming encounter as he enjoys more creative opportunities than usual under his national trainer.

"I am very lucky that Julen Lopetegui gives me total freedom to move where I like," the 21-year-old told Uefa.com.

"I think this is one of the keys to our team.

"Our attacking players aren't static, there is a lot of movement in order to create space within which to pass. This helps us cause our opponents more problems."

Spain and Netherlands lock horns on Wednesday, 18.00CET in Petah Tikva.
