Manchester United Allow Patrice Evra To Attend France World Cup 2010 Mutiny Hearing - Report

Manchester United have relented to the French Football Federation's request and allowed Patrice Evra to attend a hearing to discuss the World Cup 2010 fiasco, according to The Guardian.

Evra, 29, skippered the Les Blues set-up that imploded in South Africa after dressing room revelations about Nicolas Anelka's suspension ended in strike action. The hearing in Paris tomorrow will seek to find out the truth behind the incident and the left-back has been summoned along with the Chelsea striker, Lyon's Jeremy Toulalan and Barcelona's Eric Abidal.

Earlier this week, Bayern Munich blocked Franck Ribery from standing before the commitee as they refused to release the player in a non-international week. After initially being blocked for the same reason, Evra is understood to have convinced manager Sir Alex Ferguson his presence is essential as captain.
