World Cup 2010: We Suffered, But Now We Are Among The Four Best - Spain's Andres Iniesta

Spain's Andres Iniesta took a few moments after the match to reflect on the proceedings, acknowledging the difficulty la Furia Roja had in securing the result.

"We suffered a lot, but now we are among the four best teams at the World Cup," said the usually soft-spoken midfielder in comments reported by Marca.

"At these heights, all matches are very even and hard-fought. Paraguay is a team that marks very aggressively and they were difficult to beat."

Finally, with respect to facing Germany in the semi-finals on Wednesday, Iniesta refused to allow the German exhibition against Argentina sway his feelings.

"That result [against Argentina] has nothing to do with the semi-finals - none of the rest of the tournament does. Every match is its own story. We are here and we are going for it all."
