World Cup 2010: Germany Striker Miroslav Klose Delighted With Aussie Victory

German hitman earns respect…
Germany Striker Miroslav Klose has revealed his delight following Germany’s 4-0 victory over Australia this evening.

"Everything worked well and it is important that things went well in the first game," the Bayern striker, who headed Germany into a 2-0 lead on 27 minutes, told Sky Sports.

"I know what I can do. I feel great," added the 32-year-old who grabbed his 11th goal of the World Cup finals, leaving him just four behind all time leader World Cup goalscorer Ronaldo.

"We have earned some respect. You could see that we had fun playing football out there.”

The victory, the most impressive of the tournament so far, sends Germany to the top of Group D ahead of their second fixture with Serbia on Friday.
