Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Wilson Palacios has insisted the injury that threatened his World Cup campaign is "nothing serious."
Palacios, 25, had picked up an abductor muscle injury in Honduras' friendly with Romania yesterday which was reported to have put him on the sidelines for the tournament. The loss would have been a huge blow for the first-time qualifiers.
However, speaking to La Prensa, the hard-tackling player stated he would be ready for the Hondurans opening match in Group H against Chile on 16 June.
"I supposedly had a pulled abductor but I feel a lot better," Palacios said.
"Thank God it's nothing serious."
