The Inter midfielder says he does not need a vacation in between the end of the Serie A season and the start of the World Cup...
Serbia midfielder Dejan Stankovic admits that he only wants to play football, and does not need any rest or relaxation before the World Cup.

The Inter midfielder has not taken any time off between the Nerazzurri's treble-trophy winning season, and the start of the tournament in South Africa.

"I don't need any holidays. My body doesn't feel tired," the 31-year-old stated to Bilic Sport. "I can't wait to reunite with my national team-mates and start training alongside them.

"All I want to do is play. For me, it feels as if I am starting from zero again. I want to give it my absolute best for this jersey," he added.

Serbia's first match is against Ghana on June 13.
