World Cup 2010: Nigeria Squad - Coach Lars Lagerback Leaves Seyi Olofinjana Out Of Provisional Roster

Victor Anichebe & Haruna Lukman in, Seyi Olofinjana out

Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback named his 30 man provisional squad on Monday evening in Abuja devoid of any surprises. The Swedish gaffer retained many of the players from the bronze winning Nations Cup team.

Only two home based players made the cut while Everton's Victor Anichebe and Monaco's Haruna Lukman are in the team.

However, Hull City's Seyi Olofinjana was dropped while Brown Ideye of Sochaux and Terna Suswam of local side Lobi Stars have been given a chance to make the World Cup.

Nigeria's final list of 23 will be made known on June 1. The Super Eagles are drawn in Group B alongside Argentina, Greece and South Korea.
