Germany coach Joachim Loew has announced his squad for the upcoming international friendly against Argentina. Loew has invited 26 players for Wednesday's friendly game.

Bayer Leverkusen star Toni Kroos and Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Mueller have both been included in the Nationalelf squad and could make their official debut for Germany's senior side.

"Both players have impressed with a string of good performances at their respective clubs. They have deserved this chance following their superb form in the past couple of months," said Loew in a press conference.

Werder Bremen keeper Tim Wiese was initially part of the squad as well, but the Werder shot-stopper was forced to withdraw due to injury. Hamburger SV midfielder Marcell Jansen is doubtful due to injury, too.
