Cesc Fabregas: Playing With Spain Is a Pleasure

The Arsenal captain capped a memorable display with a classy goal...

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas told AS that scoring in Spain's 3-0 win over Estonia in their World Cup qualifier will give him added confidence, and that playing with the national side is a pleasure.

Fabregas declared earlier in the week that he would like more game time with the national team, and he certainly has repaid the faith shown in him by his coach Vicente Del Bosque, with a fantastic individual display, capped off by a wonderful goal.

"That goal is very important to me, mainly because it gives me confidence. The truth is that it is a pleasure to play with these players and this team," Fabregas said afterwards.

The Arsenal captain dedicated his goal to his friend Carles Puyol, and also added that Spain deserve no less, after a perfect qualifying campaign to date.

He continued, "Eight wins from eight. Not many teams can say this."

"He [Puyol] is, who is very supportive of me, and that is why I dedicated it to him."
