Cristiano Ronaldo admits Real Madrid still lack the consistency required to win the Champions League this season.
Zinedine Zidane’s men have made it to the quarter-final stage following a 4-0 aggregate win over Roma, although the Serie A side squandered plenty of chances at the Santiago Bernabeu to secure an away goal.
The Champions League arguably represents Madrid’s best hope of winning a trophy this season as the club are 12 points behind Barcelona in La Liga, but Ronaldo insists his side need to improve.
"We're still lacking a few things," said the Portugal international.
"We're lacking consistency, a bit of luck, a bit of ambition but if we keep going like this we're on the right track now."
