Barcelona bound to get tough draw - Iniesta

Andres Iniesta has suggested that Barcelona are bound to get a tough draw in the Champions League last 16, but refused to suggest his preferred opponent.

The Blaugrana's top-seed status sees them avoid Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund in the next round, but with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal as possbile opponents, Iniesta maintains there can be no easy tie.

"Anyone who we play is bound to be a difficult draw," the 29-year-old told Mundo Deportivo ahead of Monday's draw.

"What we must consider though is that we'll have home advantage in the second leg."

The attacking midfielder also stressed his contract talks are progressing well, indicating he could sign fresh terms within the next month.

"Talks are going very well," Iniesta added. "If I don't sign later this year it could be the beginning of next year. There's nothing new to tell."

Barca host Cartagena in the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie on Tuesday, with one final Liga clash with Getafe at the weekend ahead of the winter break.
