Ronaldo: Bayern Munich can win the Champions League

The Portuguese attacker believes that the Bavarian club will pose a serious threat to his side and warned that the Germans can go all the way in the tournament
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo believes that he and his team-mates will have to work hard to defeat Bayern Munich in their Champions League semi-final tie.

The Spanish club are through to the last four with an 8-2 aggregate victory over APOEL following Wednesday's 5-2 victory over the Cypriot side at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg of their quarter-final meeting.

Despite the prospect of meeting arch-rivals Barcelona in the tournament decider, Ronaldo has called on his team to focus on the task at hand against Bayern.

"We have reached our goal, we beat APOEL and we are in the Champions League semi-finals," he told reporters after the match.

"Now we will face Bayern, it will be a very hard tie. They are a very tough side.

"I do not see myself in the final because Bayern are a side who can win the Champions League."

Madrid will visit Bayern on April 17 and will host the Bavarian giants the following week.
