Real Madrid defender Marcelo is in buoyant mood after his side qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilian left-back scored the opening goal in the 37th minute in los Blancos' 3-0 victory over Olympique Lyonnais in the second leg of their last 16 tie that saw them progress 4-1 on aggregate.
It is the first time in seven years that Madrid have made it to the last eight and Marcelo is understandably jubilant.
"We did what the manager wanted and went out to win the game," said the 22-year-old after the match, according to Fifa.com.
"This victory gives us a lot of confidence and we owed it to the Madrid fans."
Marcelo, though, is not thinking about the draw yet that takes place on Friday and stated: "We are not thinking about who we could get in the next round. We will just wait for the draw and see."
