Chelsea have included captain John Terry in their travelling squad to face Slovakian side MSK Zilina in their opening Champions League group game.

Terry sustained a rib injury in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over local rivals West Ham United but has shaken off the knock to join up with the rest of the squad.

However, the Blues will be without Frank Lampard and Jose Bosingwa who have failed to recover from injuries in time, whilst Didier Drogba is suspended and Ashley Cole has been given a rest by Carlo Ancelotti.

"John Terry trained today and he will travel. The players we have out and unavailable are Bosingwa and Lampard," Ancelotti told the club's official website.

"Jose still needs some time. Frank also needs some more time before he is ready to play, but he should be okay for the game on Sunday [against Blackpool].

"Ashley Cole will also stay out for the game on Wednesday because I want to give him some rest. He played two games with the national team and he also played on Saturday. There is no problem, but it is better for him to rest."
