Inter president Massimo Moratti believes the Nerazzurri will face a tough challenge in the Champions League group stage but is happy they avoided Real Madrid.
The reigning champions have Werder Bremen, Tottenham and Twente in their group, and Moratti is pleased the Beneamata will not have to face former coach Jose Mourinho.
"It is a tough group, without any weak sides, but we will face them with the right spirit," the patron told Sportal. "I am happy that we avoided Real Madrid.
"I'm not too sure whether it would have been a good or bad thing meeting them now.
"The media might be thinking about the start of the upcoming season, but all I am thinking about is the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid, and whether we can win it and keep our trophy dream alive.
"I hope that the players are ready," added the president.
