A Diego Milito double was enough to hand Jose Mourinho’s Nerazzurri the title amid joyous scenes at the Santiago Bernabeu, and send Bayern Munich back to Bavaria empty handed.
Inter supporters flooded into Milan’s Piazza Duomo to rejoice at their side’s wonderful win, their first triumph in the competition since 1965.
