Butt – 7: Conceded two, but made two excellent saves from Sneijder and Pandev to prevent a bigger scoreline. Safe on crosses and high balls.
Lahm – 5.5: Attacked a little too much and Bayern were caught on the counter-attack a number of times as a result. Milito's second goal and Sneijder's chance came from the empty space he left.
Van Buyten – 5: Made one key interception midway through the second half, but was made to look a complete fool by Milito who twisted him in knots for the second goal.
Demichelis – 4.5: Had a shocking first half where he was all over the place positionally. Lost Milito for the opener, and couldn't cope with the Argentine all night.
Badstuber – 6.5: The best of the Bayern backline. Steady down the left hand side, and put in a decent display against Eto'o.
Robben – 7.5: Bayern's star player once again. Caused Chivu problems every time he got the ball. Set up Olic early on, and would have equalised on 64 minutes but for a brilliant Julio Cesar save.
Van Bommel – 6: Started well and controlled proceedings for a spell in the first half, but lost his discipline and became frustrated as the match wore on.
Schweinsteiger – 6: Similar analysis to his centre midfield partner. Passing was excellent in the first period, but he couldn't stamp his authority after the interval.
Altintop – 6: Replaced the suspended Franck Ribery, and didn't disgrace himself down the left even if he rarely troubled Maicon. Shot wide on 54 minutes.
Mueller – 6: Honest in attack, but ultimately didn't have the tools to really hurt Lucio and Samuel. Will regret squandering Bayern's one really open chance on 46 minutes.
Olic – 6.5: A busy performance from the little Croatian who was involved in some of Bayern's best moments. Had a good chance on nine minutes and set up Mueller at the start of the second half.
Klose – 5: Brought on past the hour as Bayern chased the game but made no impact.
Gomez – 5: Like Klose, Gomez couldn't get into the game.
Cesar – 7: Had next to nothing of note to do in the first half, but made two fine saves after half time at 1-0 from Mueller and Robben.
Maicon – 7: Didn't attack as much as usual down the right hand side but was very solid and was caused few problems by the opposition.
Lucio – 7: Not the all-conquering Lucio we saw in earlier games against Chelsea and Barcelona, and overplayed a few times, but still another good European game against his former team.
Samuel – 8: Brilliant performance from 'The Wall' in a stadium he struggled at with Real Madrid. On current form, Samuel is the best centre back on the planet. A key block just moments before Milito's second goal.
Chivu – 4.5: A nervous wreck and Inter's clear weak link. Burnt time and again by Robben, who created many of Bayern's openings after leaving him for dead.
Cambiasso – 7: Protected the Inter backline with distinction as he has in every knockout game. A scandal that he won't be playing at the World Cup like Zanetti.
Zanetti – 7: As the saying goes, 'Zanetti never has a bad game' and it was no different tonight. Consistent both at centre midfield and left back when he was drafted back to look after Robben.
Eto'o – 6.5: Sacrificed himself for the team, and while he didn't threaten too much offensively he still provided the pass to Milito in the build-up to the second goal.
Sneijder – 8.5: Has made such a difference creatively to this Inter team. Created the first goal, should have scored himself before half time, and linked up telepathically with Milito.
Pandev – 6.5: Quiet in the first half, but was much improved in the second period. Almost scored on 47 minutes but was denied by Butt.
Milito – 9: Undoubtedly the club player of the season in Europe in 2009/10. Scored both goals with clinical finishes, set up two great chances for Sneijder and Pandev, and was a class act in attack.
Stankovic – 6.5: Replaced Chivu and added some energy in the second half.
Muntari – N/A
Materazzi – N/A
