Milan Star Clarence Seedorf Wishes Inter Good Luck Ahead Of CSKA Moscow Match

The Dutchman hopes the Nerazzurri go through for the sake of Calcio.

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has admitted he will root for his former club Inter to progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Inter host Russian side CSKA Moscow tonight in the first leg of their last eight tie which is seen as key in Italy, with Serie A slipping down the UEFA coefficient list and at risk of losing a Champions League spot to the Bundesliga for the 2011-12 season.

“I won’t say 'Forza Inter' because I don’t cheer on anyone but Milan,” Seedorf told La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

“But I hope they advance. It would be good for Italy and for Italian football. And I think that Inter have what it takes to go through to the semi-finals.”
