Player Ratings: Olympique Lyonnais 3-1 Girondins de Bordeaux

Lloris: 8 - Could have conceded a goal to Chamakh on the half hour mark when he came off his line too early but he made up for that by making four sensational saves. His best of the bunch came on the hour mark when he parried away Chamakh's acrobatic effort from a point-blank range.

Reveillere: 7 - Had a decent game in the Lyon backline and was involved in a number of attacking moves.

Cris: 6.5 - Like his fellow defenders, he did get caught short on a few occasions but eventually recovered his cool and composure.

Bodmer: 7 - It was his cross that led to Lisandro's first goal. Bodmer was strong at the back and was also an important component for Lyon going forward.

Cissokho: 7 - The highly rated full-back wasn't very prominent in the first half as he couldn't get on with his marauding runs very much but he was a massive player down the left in the second half. It was his shot that Chalme handled for the penalty and he sent in two sensational crosses for his team-mates in the last few minutes too.

Makoun: 6 - Should have scored in the 69th minute when he was sent through on goal by Cesar Delgado. Makoun wasn't very lively in the first half but had a better second 45 minutes.

Toulalan: 6 -
He was culpable for the Bordeaux goal as Yoann Gourcuff got the better of him to send in the cross that Chamakh headed home. Gourcuff troubled him throughout the night but Toulalan rose up to the challenge on a few occasions.

Delgado: 7 - Could have scored two goals himself and was a perfect complement for Lisandro Lopez. The attacking midfielder crafted a couple of great balls for his team=mates and his runs along the flanks were a menace to the Bordeaux backline.

Pjanic: 5 - The Lyon youngster had a rather quiet and disappointing match tonight. He was involved in a number of attacks but he couldn't showcase his ability, although he was heavily involved in Bastos' goal.

Bastos: 7.5 - Started the first half rather slowly but soon recovered his rhythm. Scored a excellent goal just after the half hour mark and created a number of moves and chances for his team-mates. Didn't have a very fruitful second half and was substituted on 66 minutes.

Lisandro: 8 - Scored two goals and looked superb on several occasions. He was the architect of a number of moves and attempted to send his team-mates through on goal on a few occasions too.

Kallstrom: 6 - Held the fort well after coming on for Pjanic in the 66th minute. Crafted a great cross for Jean Makoun in the late going.

Govou: 6 - Should have scored in the 79th minute when he found himself in front of an open goal from just yards out. But he had a decent game apart from that and made a number of forays into the Bordeaux half.

Gonalons: N/A - Came on with just four four minutes of normal time left. Didn't have much time to make any impact.

Carrasso: 7 - The visiting goalkeeper was strong throughout the match and made four saves. He saved a good Michel Bastos effort on goal in the first half among others.

Chalme: 7 - He may have given away the penalty for Lisandro's second goal but it was quite harsh. The attacking right-back whipped in a great diagonal ball inside the Lyon box on the hour mark for Chamakh. Chalme also made number of important clearances inside the Bordeaux area in the second half.

Sane: 6 - Like Ciani, Sane had trouble finding his feet against the opposition attackers and was caught off guard on a number of occasions.

Ciani: 6 - The former Lorient defender was responsible for the mistake that led to the opening goal of the match. But he soon recovered himself but was still bothered by Lisandro and company.

Tremoulinas: 5.5 - Was troubled throughout the match by the Lyon attacking players and was responsible for Michel Bastos' goal. However, he was an important figure in pushing forward and contributed to the visitors' attacks.

Plasil: 6.5 - The Bordeaux midfielder created several moves from midfield and was important in the defensive side of things. However, he was dominated at times by the Lyon midfielders.

Fernando: 6 - Started the match well and made some important interventions but got overrun by the Lyon midfielders as the match progressed.

Gouffran: 6.5 - Was involved in a number of Bordeaux attacking moves but got tired towards the end.

Gourcuff: 7.5 - The former Milan midfielder was arguably the most creative Bordeaux player on the pitch. He send Chamakh through on a few occasions and was also responsible for whipping in the cross that led to the Bordeaux goal.

Wendel: 7 - Hit the Lyon crossbar just before he was substituted and was a creative player in the midfield for Bordeaux as he brought into play several of his team-mates on several occasions.

Chamakh: 7 - Scored the Bordeaux equaliser but should have scored at least two more goals. He might perhaps consider himself a bit unlucky after Lloris pulled off a great save on his effort on the hour mark but the Moroccan will be a little disappointed with his shooting tonight.

Jussie: 6 - Replaced Wendel on 72 minutes and had a decent run out.

Henrique: N/A - Came on in the 82nd minute and couldn't make any changes to the rhythm of the game.

Bellion: N/A - Came on with just six minutes of normal time left and didn't make any impact.
