Ibrahim Yattara and Mohamed Diame are the latest names to be linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The recent confusion surrounding the Champions League registrations of Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Lassana Diarra has convinced the Madrid hierarchy to only look towards players who have not played in any European competition of any sort this season. That rules out players such as Milos Krasic, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Ashley Young and Mauro Zarate, who have been linked with the club in recent times.
One such option is Ibrahim Yattara, the Guinean winger who plays for Trabzonspor. He has played for the club for six seasons, and is said to be available for around €7 million.
The other name doing the rounds is that of Mohamed Diame , the french defensive midfielder who has impressed for Rayo Vallecano in La Segunda. In the event of Lassana Diarra not being registered for Europe, Diame is seen as his replacement for that competition. It may not be easy to sign him, however, as there are said to be plenty of other clubs interested in his signature.
