Jorge Britez cancelled his contract with Panserraikos and has moved back to Paraguay, after previously having strong complaints over the 'amateur' way the Superleague club was being managed.
ABC report that the former Valladolid and Braga player paid to leave the Greek outfit after less than two months as a part of their set up, after despairing of the internal battles and sub-par performances that plagued the club.
The Leontaria are currently bottom of the pile after just one win in their first seven games.
"With Britez we arrived at an agreement with the Greek club to cancel the contract, since he has not adapted, he does not like the treatment he received from the directors and the management. Now we are going to see where he can train, and by the end of the year find a club to play at," Britez's agent Miguel Gonzalez Zelada explained on Monday.
"It is a shame, but now we have to see what club he will practice in and all of that. We had to compensate the Greeks, but it was a reasonable sum."
