OFFICIAL: Colo Colo Sign Huracan's Gino Clara

The 22-year-old looked set to move to Racing Club, but changed his mind after a last minute bid from the Chilean champions...
Huracan forward Gino Clara shocked Racing Club officials today by signing with Chilean giants Colo Colo, just days after the player's representatives assured the club that the 22-year-old would join Miguel Angel Russo at La Academia.

The club's official website informed that Clara was presented as a Colo Colo player this afternoon, after successfully passing a medical Thursday morning.

The club went on to state that Clara arrives in Santiago on a year's loan from fellow Chilean outfit Union de San Felipe, who have him registered as their player. Huracan dispute this however and will request the player's return to Parque Patricios.

"I am very excited to arrive at a big club like Colo Colo, I am pleased by the choice and I accepted almost as soon as the offer came up," Clara told reporters at his presentation for the club, where he will play under the direction of fellow Argentine Diego Cagna.

"I am a young player who can play down the right wing, I am quick and I love to take people on."
