Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem have revealed they will not be signing young Argentinian striker Frederico Ortiz.
The 21-year-old had been on trial with the club, and featured in a reserves match against Belgian Jupiler League club AGOVV Apeldoorn.
But director Ted van Leeuwen has announced the team will not be signing the player.
"Frederico doesn't meet the level we want to go to," Van Leeuwen told the club's official website. "He will return to Argentina today."
Meanwhile, the side has decided to take a further look at 18-year-old Giorgi Diasamidze.
"Giorgi has a European passport and is young," added Van Leeuwen. "We want to see more of him."
