According to De Telegraaf, Eredivisie outfit NEC have completed the transfer of versatile attacker John Goossens from Ajax for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old forward has signed a four-year deal at NEC and joins his new club with immediate effect. The hot prospect failed secure regular first team football at Ajax, despite his huge potential.
NEC faced stiff competition from Twente for Goossens's signature, while Eerstedivisie side Haarlem were also closely monitoring Goossens's situation at Ajax.
The left footed youngster is the second player leaving Ajax for NEC within a month. Danish attacker Dennis Rommedahl signed for NEC about three weeks ago.
