Eredivisie side Vitesse are battling against relegation this campaign and were beaten 2-1 by Twente last weekend. However, they’re desperate to stay clear of the drop zone though and are keen to strengthen their squad in the upcoming days.
The Arnhem side were being linked
with a move for several players in the past couple of weeks and they’ve
now completed their first signing. Slovenian playmaker Dalibor
Stevanovic has signed a six-month deal at Vitesse.
24-year-old attacking midfielder recently completed a trial period in
Arnhem and impressed the technical staff with his abilities. Stevanovic
currently plays for Israeli side Maccabi Petach Tikva, but is no longer
needed and therefore has transfer free status.
started his professional career at Olimpia Ljubljana and also played
for NK Domzale, Alaves and Real Sociedad before joining his current
club in 2008. Additionally, he made nine international appearances for
