Vitesse Snap Up Dalibor Stevanovic

Arnhem side Vitesse have signed Slovenian midfielder Dalibor Stevanovic…
Eredivisie side Vitesse are battling against relegation this campaign and were beaten 2-1 by Twente last weekend. However, they’re desperate to stay clear of the drop zone though and are keen to strengthen their squad in the upcoming days.

The Arnhem side were being linked with a move for several players in the past couple of weeks and they’ve now completed their first signing. Slovenian playmaker Dalibor Stevanovic has signed a six-month deal at Vitesse.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder recently completed a trial period in Arnhem and impressed the technical staff with his abilities. Stevanovic currently plays for Israeli side Maccabi Petach Tikva, but is no longer needed and therefore has transfer free status.

Stevanovic started his professional career at Olimpia Ljubljana and also played for NK Domzale, Alaves and Real Sociedad before joining his current club in 2008. Additionally, he made nine international appearances for Slovenia.
