Goal.com Poll Results: Mourinho Is The Right Man To Replace Ferguson

The readers have spoken, and it seems the Special One is the man for Old Trafford...
Yesterday, we asked the readers to speculate on the successor to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has been touted as the prime candidate, and the readers are in agreement.

A majority reckon that the 'Special One' would be the perfect replacement for Sir Alex, once the Scot finally calls it a day.

Here are the results in full:

Is Jose Mourinho the right man for Manchester United?

Yes 61%

No 39%

Alan from NZ says, "The only reservation I have with Mourinho is his habit of leaving clubs to "win everything." United need a long term manager, one that will stay on for at least a decade. It would be best if Mourinho went off to Spain and won the title then took on the United job."

Alain from China says, "Maybe he will be a great coach for United after Fergie's retirement. He's got the skills and style to take care of a big team such as United. I just fear that his personality trait will resulted in plenty of conflicts from other teams for United, just like he always does with Chelsea and Inter."
