USA Squad For South Africa Friendly Full Of New Faces

Bob Bradley has selected an interesting squad for this trip to Cape Town.
Bob Bradley has announced the squad that the U.S. Men's National Team will take with them to Cape Town for their friendly with South Africa next week.

Highlighted by a number of new faces like Kansas City Wizards forward Teal Bunbury and New York Red Bulls Tim Ream, the side should have a very different feel to it once they take the field at Cape Town Stadium.

"This game is a good opportunity to look at some different players and assess their place in the pool as we continue to build for the next cycle,” said Bradley. “With our immediate focus on the Gold Cup next summer, this game in many ways is just as much the start of 2011 as it is the end of a great year.”

Many of the regulars for the team have responsibilities with their club teams so this gave Bradley a chance to pick some different names to see what they are capable of doing in a national team jersey.
