Former Santos and Bay United coach David Bright has indicated that he is still open to offers from South African clubs.
Bright signed a short-term contract with Gaborone United until the end of the season after the sacking of Manfred Chabinga last week.
However, the former Botswana national team coach told Mmegi Online, before he left with GU for a CAF Champions League tie in Mauritius that he is still hopeful of getting a coaching job in South Africa.
He added that if he does not get an offer, he does not rule out the possibility of handling a Botswana club.
His first assignment as GU coach was on Saturday against Curepipe Starlight of Mauritius in the first round of the CAF Champions League, and the match ended 3-0 in favour of Bright's side.
The visitors' goals came from Vincent Phiri, Ronald Chikomo and Mandla Mgadla. With this comfortable lead, Gaborone Utd are almost certain of a ticket into the next round, with a return leg in a fortnight.
