Orlando Pirates Considering James Obiorah Signing

Goal-shy Orlando Pirates have reportedly earmarked James Obiorah as the man to solve their woes in the final third of the pitch.
The Nigerian striker, a former Under-17 captain with three Super Eagles caps to his name, has been invited to train with Bucs and impress coach Ruud Krol.

According to a Pirates official who wants to remain anonymous, Obiorah looked very impressive during his first day training with the club.

“Floyd Mbele might the right person to get more details from, but the Nigerian striker looked very good at training yesterday [Tuesday],” he said, according to Kickoff.com.

Obiorah has plenty of European experience to his name, having played for, amongst others, Swiss club Grasshoppers, Anderlecht in Belgium and Russian sided Lokomotiv Moscow. He represented his country at the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals.
