Mbulelo Mabizela Completes Platinum Stars Deal

Mbulelo Mabizela could be available for Platinum Stars when they take on AmaZulu in their Premiership match at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday.
Mabizela finalised his contract with the Tycoons this week. He is reported to have refused to play for Stars in their opening league game against Jomo Cosmos at Rand Stadium on Saturday after a disagreement on a certain clause in his contract.

Speaking to Kickoff.com, Tycoons manager Obed Legobate confirmed that the former Orlando Pirates defender’s contract with the club has been sorted out and he will be available for their game against Usuthu at home next week.

“Mabizela signed his contract with the club on Wednesday and is now officially a Platinum Stars player," he said.

“I cannot disclose what is in the contract, but both parties are very happy that the matter has been sorted out and, as a club, we are very happy to see a player of Mabizela’s calibre being part of the club this season.

“Depending on the technical team, he is available for our league game against AmaZulu next week.”

Legobate also confirmed that midfielder Jabu Mahlangu is back at training after missing their fixture against Ezenkosi in Johannesburg due to injury.

“Jabu suffered a knee injury the day before our game against Cosmos but has now fully recovered and is back at training,” he added.
