Visa Problems Block Kagisho Dikgacoi's Fulham Trial

The Bafana midfielder was all set to join Fulham in their training camp in Austrialia, but issues with his Visa have stopped him from meeting up with the squad.
Bafana Bafana midfielder and Golden Arrows captain Kagisho Dikgacoi was scheduled to fly out today to join English Premiership side Fulham at their pre-season camp in Australia, but due to the strict visa application process, his trip has been postponed. “I’m no longer going there today because I don’t have a visa,” he reveals to KickOff.com.

“I was in Johannesburg yesterday to try to make a last attempt to sort out the visa problem I encountered. You see, this thing has been going on for about two weeks because it is a strict process.

“They said to me before issuing the visa they have to do a police clearance in cooperation with the country where I’m supposed to go and in my case, they are still working on it,” says Dikgacoi.

“I was also told that they might conclude the process by Monday or Tuesday, but the problem is that Fulham will be in Australia until Wednesday next week, which means I can’t hook up with them in Australia anymore.

“Now the situation is that I have to wait for my business manager Mike Makaab to tell me what we will do next.

“I hope this won’t mess up the whole thing and I hope by Monday the visa will be ready,” he concludes.
